Head of the Russian Imperial House,
As an award for those who have rendered extraordinary service to Russia and to the Russian Imperial House, who have made a significant contribution to the rebirth of the spiritual, scientific, cultural and educational, governmental and national traditions of the country; to the national security of the Fatherland, to the development of the economy, to charitable activities and to the assistance of their poor and underprivileged countrymen, to the strengthening of relations between the peoples of our nation, to the reestablishment of the moral and ethical foundations of our society, and also to the preparations for the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the ending of the Time of Troubles, the reestablishment of the Russian State, and the all-national election to the throne of the House of Romanoff, we establish this medal “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013,” and we confirm the Statutes for the awarding and wearing of the medal.

“In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013”
The medal “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013,” has been established by the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, in Madrid on February 21/March 5, 2012.
- The right to wear the medal “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013,” is conferred by a decree from the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, to persons of both sexes who have rendered extraordinary service to Russia and to the Russian Imperial House, who have made a significant contribution to the rebirth of the spiritual, scientific, cultural and educational, governmental and national traditions of the country; to the national security of the Fatherland, to the development of the economy, to charitable activities and to the assistance of their poor and underprivileged countrymen, to the strengthening of relations between the peoples of our nation, to the reestablishment of the moral and ethical foundations of our society, and also to the preparations for the celebrations of the 400th anniversary of the ending of the Time of Troubles, the reestablishment of the Russian State, and the all-national election to the throne of the House of Romanoff.
- The medal “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013” depicts on the obverse two figures, in three-quarter profile—one of the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, and the other of Tsar Mikhail Romanoff. Along the outer edge of the circular medal is a thin solid ring, along with a thin chain of alternating dashes and dots around the entire circumference of the medal. On the reverse side is the four-line inscription, in block letters: “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013.” The diameter of the medal is 32 millimeters. The ribbon is in Romanoff colors (white, yellow, black). On the reverse of the medal is a place for the inscription of the registration number, which is to correspond to the number of the diploma awardees will receive.

- The medal “In Commemoration of the 400th Anniversary of the House of Romanoff, 1613-2013” is worn on the left breast.
