This important initiative seeks to encourage academic, creative, artistic, and legal projects that explore the relationship between the individual and society in modern Russia, that foster a respect for the rule of law and legal procedure, and that consider the balance between the rights of the individual and the role of the State.  This initiative will include a series of events over the course of the next year focusing on various aspects of the “harmonious development of the individual and society.”  Presentations and submitted works in the competition will be in Russian.  For more information, see
