Decrees of the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna Concerning the Reforming of a Knights’ Council for the Order of St. Anna

By Our Decrees of 23 December 2005, it seems good to Us to establish anew the Knights’ Council for the Imperial Order of St. Anna, which is to assume the duty of preliminary examination of all nominations for the award of the said order, which are then referred, according to the established norms, to Us for our approval; and to appoint as its chairman our Judge of Arms, a knight of the Order of St. Anna in the First Degree.

Now we appoint as members of the Knights’ Council for the next two years the following knights of the said order:

First Degree:
His Eminence, Archbishop Arsenii of Istrin
Count Dmitrii Nikolaevich Wouytch
Colonel-General Valerii Leonidovich Manilov

Second Degree:
Academic Ruslan Ivanovich Il’kaev
Major-General Aleksander Valentinovich Kirilin
Sergei Alekseevich Sapozhnikov
Academic Evgenii Petrovich Chelyshev

Third Degree:
Vissarion Igorevich Aliavdin
Aleksander Iur’evich Korolev-Pereleshin
Aleksander Nikolaevich Krylov-Tolstikovich
Oleg Viacheslavovich Shcherbachev

We direct our Judge of Arms, Knight of the Order of St. Anna in the Third Degree Oleg Viacheslavovich Shcherbachev, to serve as secretary for the said Knights’ Council.

The term for members of the Knights’ Council of the Imperial Order of St. Anna hereby extends to 16 February 2008, when Our decree will establish its new composition.
