The Lord called you to serve in the very See that was once occupied by the great Russian hierarch, St. John (Maximovich), who was a true spiritual friend, intercessor, and mentor of my most august grandfather, grandmother, father, and mother. Ever mindful of the great power of the Christian love of your sainted predecessor, you have always striven to preserve his legacy and to minister to the flock entrusted to you in accordance with his precepts.

I very much appreciate your efforts to help restore the unity of the Russian Orthodox Church, your deep understanding of the mission of Our House, and your unwavering loyalty to the ideals and values of legitimate Orthodox monarchy.

From the bottom of my heart, I wish you health, many years, and God’s help in all your labours for the good of the Church and the Fatherland.
