Condolences from the Head of the House of Romanoff in connection with the Acts of Terrorism on the Moscow Metro
Condolences from the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria Wladimirovna, in connection with the recent Acts of Terrorism on the Moscow Metro
It was with the deepest sorrow and heartfelt pain that I received the news of the recent act of terrorism that occurred on the Moscow Metro, which caused numerous casualties. I pray for the repose of the souls of those who perished and for the speedy recovery of those who suffered injuries. I also wish to convey my condolences to all those who lost family and loved ones as a result of this horrendous atrocity.
Once again, a brutal murder of peaceful and defenseless civilians has been perpetrated. The only appropriate response to this cowardly and base crime, which wantonly defies the laws of God and man, is for all the citizens of Russia, regardless of their religious, national, social, or political differences, to unite in a common stand against terrorism and the ideologies that feed it.
