The Head of the Russian Imperial House of Romanoff, H.I.H. The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, has sent a letter of congratulations to Svetlana Veniaminovna Ivanova on the occasion of her 70th birthday. Svetlana Veniaminovna is a celebrated Russian scholar and teacher, Professor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Education, Senior Academic Secretary of the Russian Academy of Education, editor-in-chief of the scholarly journal Values and Meanings, Honoured Scientist of the Russian Federation, and Dame of the Imperial Order of St. Anastasia the Alleviatrix of Captives.

I remember warmly the times we met and spoke, and I greatly appreciate your frequent participation in events sponsored by institutions and organizations associated with the Russian Imperial House.
I wish you good health, strength and endurance, and many more achievements in your academic work for the benefit of Russia.
