The Chancellery of the Head of the Imperial House of Russia, H.I.H. The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, is saddened to announce the death on December 2, 2020, of Boris Grigorievich Plotnikov, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation, acting teacher and critic, and knight of the Imperial Order of St. Anna. He was 72 years old. His death was due to complications related to coronavirus.

The Head of the Imperial House of Russia, H.I.H. The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, and her son and heir, H.I.H. The Tsesarevich and Grand Duke George of Russia, extend their condolences to Boris Grigorievich’s family, friends, colleagues, and students.
