The Chancellery of the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, is deeply saddened to announce the death on 11 December 2021 of Colonel-General Fyodor Ivanovich Ladygin, Commander of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation from 1992 to 1997.
