2021-05-28 MEMORY ETERNAL! Vladimir Pavlovich Serdyuk, President of the Creative Association of Artists, and publisher of the journal Art for Everyone

The Chancellery of the Head of the Imperial House of Russia is saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected death on 28 May 2021 of Vladimir Pavlovich Serdyuk, President of the Creative Association of Artists; founder, publisher, and editor-in-chief of the journal Art for Everyone; and member of the Governing Council of the Moscow regional branch of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society.

 

Vladimir Pavlovich Serdyuk was born in Moscow. He graduated from the Moscow Machine Tool and Design College and served in the Soviet Army. From 1970 to 2010, he worked in various industrial enterprises in Moscow. Accomplished in the field of decorative arts and crafts, he became a member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia in 1997. In 2010, Vladimir Pavlovich Serdyuk founded and served as president of the Creative Association of Artists; and in 2011 he founded the journal Art for Everyone, of which he was publisher and editor-in-chief. His honours include membership in the Union of Journalists of Russia (2014), Honorary Academician of the Russian Academy of Arts (2015), and Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Culture and Art (2018). His journal Art for Everyone published materials covering historical and contemporary events in the cultural life of Russia, including the activities of the Russian Imperial House. He was also an active supporter of the work of the Imperial Orthodox Palestine Society.

 

The Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. The Grand Duchess Maria of Russia, her son and heir, H.I.H. The Tsarevich and Grand Duke George of Russia, and his fiancée Victoria Romanovna extend their deepest condolences to Vladimir Pavlovich’s wife, Galina Anatolievna Rozanova, and all his family and friends.

 

May the Lord grant a blessed repose in His Kingdom to His newly departed servant Vladimir.

 

The funeral for Vladimir Pavlovich Serdyuk will be on 1 June 2021 at 1:00pm at the Clinical Hospital MEDSI in Otradnoe, Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region.
