Christ is Risen!

I send my heartfelt greetings to the participants of the Seventh International Forum “Intellectual Property in the 21st Century.”

The great culture that was created by the fraternal peoples of our country, and which was imbibed with the best of all its nationals traditions and, in turn, enriched the spiritual life of each its nations and nationalities—that great and glittering culture remains the key to the unity of the entire cultural space that was once the Russian Empire.

I hope that this year, the designated Year of Culture in Russia, will be marked by yet more achievements in the field of intellectual property, and that these achievements will be made on the basis of a fair and reasonable balance between the need to protect the rights and interests of authors from illegal infringements of their rights, and the need to have available for all our countrymen the fruits of our creative work.

I wish you every success and God’s blessing in your efforts at the Forum.
