H.I.H. Tsesarevich and Grand Duke Georgii Mikhailovich has been appointed Advisor to the General Director of MMC Norilsk Nickel

H.I.H. Tsesarevich and Grand Duke Georgii Mikhailovich has been appointed Advisor to the General Director of MMC Norilsk Nickel

His Imperial Highness, Tsesarevich and Grand Duke Georgii Mikhailovich has been appointed to the post of Advisor to Vladimir Igorevich Strzhalkovskii, the General Director of MMC Norisk Nickel. In his new post, His Imperial Highness will serve as a representative of one of Russia’s largest companies to the European Union. In addition, the Grand Duke, together with the First Deputy General Director of MMC Norilsk Nick, Oleg Pivovarchuk, and the Deputy General Director, Viktor Sprogis, will join the Board of the Nickel Institute (see their webpage at http://www.nickelinstitute.org). His responsibilities will include, among other things, leading the Company’s efforts to overturn the European Commission’s decision to classify a number of nickel compounds as hazardous substances.
