The Grand Duchess Attends the Consecrations of the new Orthodox Church of St. Michael in Altea, Spain

The Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna, attended the consecration of the Russian Orthodox Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the city of Altea in the Spanish province of Alicante. The service was performed by His Eminence, Metropolitan Kirill of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, along with His Eminence, Archbishop Innokentii of Korsun and other Russian clergy. At the service were also present the Russian ambassador to Spain, A. Kuznetsov, the general consul in Barcelona, D. Kazimorov, the mayor of Altea, Andrés Ripoll Llorens, and the mayors of neighboring cities, and the Roman Catholic bishop of Orihuela-Alicante diocese, Rafael Palermo Ramos.
