The Head of the House of Romanoff Expresses Her Condolences over the Terrorist Act at Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport

From the Head of the Russian Imperial House, H.I.H. Grand Duchess Maria Wladimirovna

The recent news of the horrendous act of terrorism at Domodedovo Airport has plunged me into deepest sorrow.

I pray that the Lord will grant peace to the souls of all the innocent victims who lost their lives in this terrorist act, and will ease the suffering of those who were wounded.

I express my deepest condolences to all the relatives and friends of those who perished.

I am sure that not one of those who perpetrated these heinous killings of peaceful citizens will go unpunished. Our response to their attempts to instill fear should be unity and solidarity in the struggle against godless and inhumane terrorism, which is directed against each and everyone of us.
